Colour-blind person

Fist of all one should realise what daltonism is. Many people believe that daltonism as a disease characterised by full colour-blindness, but they are wrong. Sure there are occasions of total colour-blindness but those are rather rare occasions, in most cases daltonism is represented as the confusion of the colours, usually red and green. The daltonism may be extremely dangerous disease at least for that fact that a person, who suffers with daltonism, is not able to chose the right traffic light as crossing the road.
The most frequent case of colour-blindness is confusion of the green colour. For about 5 per cent of men suffer with such form of the colour-blindness. The disease is rare for women. The colour-blindness, which is characterised by confusion of red colour, less frequent unlike the one of the green colour confusion. The rarest form of the colour-blindness is the form characterised by confusion of violet shades. The colour-blindness is commonly considered as sight defect, because those people are not able to see the colours the other people are. Still, according to lust researches, conducted by scientists of the University of Cambridge, those who suffer with colour-blindness are able to see shades the people with normal sight are unable to see.
Such phenomenon may be explained with the help of widely known state that in case if person loses ability, the lack of that ability is compensated with intensification of other ability. It's a common case when person get deaf the sight gets twice better, or on the contrary the sight of the blind person gets so sharp that it even may serve as sight, as person can here even the quietest sounds. The same true for the colour-blindness, as person lose ability to identify one colour the ability of identifying shades of the other colour intensifies and so those who suffer with confusion of red colour are able to see the most delicate shades of blue or other.
The results of the conducted research are of great importance as there are cases known when those who suffered with colour-blindness weren't allow to receive the driving permit. Thanks to the research of scientists of University of Cambridge those people now have a right to receive driving permit and use cars for their convenience. As a rule, colour-blindness is considered to be congenial disease, bur there are also cases known when the colour-blindness occurs within lifespan of the person. It is rather rare occasion and such colour-blindness is usually temporary. To be accurate, it is not really a disease, it is rather temporary illness. Such phenomenon is called colour fatigue and responsive. As you know time is the best doctor and in case of colour fatigue this statement is extremely right. Colour fatigue is caused by prolonged staring at one colour, so eye lose the ability to identify it as get used to this colour. In case if you feel that you have suddenly lost the ability to identify one or other colour don't get panic, just give a rest for your eyes and thing will be brought to order again.
