Pink – femininity and flippancy

It is a brilliant blend of innocence and passion, the blend of white and red colours. So, one may say that pink is a symbol of innocent passion, the colour that contains blend of two polarities and provides them with features that makes both features and colour so beautiful that one will hardly find a person, who would say that pink is irritating colour. Pink provokes the feeling of comfort and relax, but on the other hand pink is too sensitive to outer factors. No wonder that one of the youth's subculture chose pink as their symbolic colour. That subculture is the subculture of emo-kids, the teenagers who are extremely sensitive to everything that going on around them.

Depending on the shade of pink it may have different meanings and provoke different feeling. The predomination of red colour in that blend is an identification of such features as self-will, neglecting of any restrictions and constant believe in that fact that previous time were much better than present times. Those, who prefer that shade of pink, are usually people who are not able to let the past go and live in the present.

The predomination of the white in pink is a symbol of superiority of innocence and idealism before passion. Those, who prefer that shade, are usually people, who follow the device "Everything or nothing!" and that is rather dangerous believe as it increases a risk to receive nothing at all. According to predomination of red or white colour shades of pink may be divided into two groups: the pale shades and rich shades.

Pale shades of pink influence the temper and psychic of person in the way of tranquillity. Staring for a long period of time at pale pink object even causes reduction of pulse rate, in case if person was nervous and pulse got higher. Unlike pale shades of pink rich shades possesses with the same aggressive energy the red colour is. Those are shades of passion and dynamic activity. Pale shades are shades of introverts and rich shades are shades of extraverts.

Pink is a colour of those who adore red but is not spiritually strong enough to choose red, as red is vivid and aggressive. In other words, pink colour is such kind of alternative to replace red. Actually, those specialists, that deals with colours, their meanings and influence they make sometimes call pink to be a shade of red, but not the individual colour. According to colouristic analysis one may say that those people, who hate pink, are people of impulsive temper.
